10. Rick Castle

Richard Edgar "Rick" Castle (born Richard Alexander Rodgers) is a fictional character portrayed by Nathan Fillion in the ABC crime series Castle. Castle is the son of Martha Rodgers and the father of Alexis Castle, who lives with him. Castle's birth name is Richard Alexander Rodgers, but changed it to Richard Edgar Castle when he became a writer (Edgar in honor of Edgar Allan Poe). Fillion describes the family dynamic as unconventional because Castle is "mothered by his... daughter, [then]... turns around and mothers his own mother".

As a child, he never knew who his father was- reasoning that he never missed having a father as he never had anything to miss, and it allowed him to imagine that his father could be anyone he wished- and was looked after by a nanny who spent most of her time watching daytime television, with One Life to Live as the inspiration to write his first novel. 9. Seeley Booth

FBI Special Agent Seeley Joseph Booth is a fictional character US television series, Bones (2005present), portrayed by David Boreanaz. Agent Booth is a co-protagonist of the series alongside Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), whom he affectionately refers to as "Bones". eeley Booth is a former sniper in the United States Army who served in the 101st Airborne Division, the 75th Ranger Regiment, and the U.S. Army Special Forces. He is also an expert knife thrower. He is currently a special agent with the FBI. Before leaving the Army, Booth held the rank of Master Sergeant. He served in the Gulf War, Somalia and Kosovo.

While in the military he earned a Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal and the Army Good Conduct Medal. Booth frequently consults with his professional partner Dr. Brennan, whom he has nicknamed 'Bones,' and her team (he refers to them as "squints" or "squint squad"), acting as a liaison between the FBI and the Jeffersonian Institute. When it comes to solving crimes, Booth has a very different approach from Brennan and her team, preferring a more human, interpersonal and intuitive set of methods. While he finds the information Dr. Brennan and her team uncover to be valuable clues, he often finds their means overly convoluted and restrictive, and prefers to add his own intuition and knowledge of people to it; as a result, his methods often clash with Dr. Brennan's scientific, objective, and analytical approach. -Wikipedia.org

8. Danny Tanner

Danny Ernest Tanner is a fictional character and the deuteragonist on the TV series Full House, played by Bob Saget. He is the patriarch of the family, and the father of D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle. Danny's character was supposed to be named "Lenny Lake", and on the original pilot was played by John Posey. Daniel Ernest Tanner was born on December 15, 1957, to Claire Tanner (first played by Alice Hirson, later by Doris Roberts). Danny's father, John, was never revealed in the series because they were divorced. Danny has a sister, Wendy Tanner, and his brother Thomas. Wendy briefly dated Joey in Season 5. Danny's parents divorced when he was around 10 years (according to him in the episode Terror in Tanner Town from Season 4. -Wikipedia.org

7. Mike Brady

Michael Paul "Mike" Brady portrayed by Robert Reed is the head of the Brady household. He has three sons of his own. Mike, a widowed architect, became the stepfather of three daughters when he married Carol Martin. Mike enjoyed fishing and camping. Shortly after the fourth season began, Mike grew his hair into a longer, curly style. He was named "Father of the Year" by a local newspaper after his daughter Marcia submitted an essay. His parents have sometimes been mentioned, but never seen. Mike has a firm personal integrity (i.e. he refuses to participate in a commercial if it means saying a product is the best that he believes isn't) coupled with a strong sense of ethics. -Wikipedia.org

6. Eric Camden

Reverend Eric Camden, played by Stephen Collins, was raised in New York City by his parents, Colonel John Camden and Ruth Camden.Based on the episode "Halloween" (Season 1, Episode 6) it appears that Eric Camden was born in 1954. According to the episode "One Hundred" (Season 5, Episode 12), his birthday is in January, which would make him about 52 years old. Rev.Camden played by Stephen Collins attended college for five years and graduated from Kolbel Seminary.

Shortly thereafter he married and began a family with Annie Camden (Catherine Hicks). All of these events took place many years before the pilot episode. He also has one sister, Julie Camden-Hastings, who ended up marrying the doctor that delivered Eric and Annie's oldest son Matt and youngest twins, Sam and David. 5. Jim Anderson

Father Knows Best is an American radio and television comedy series which portrayed middle class family life in the Midwest. It was created by writer Ed James in the 1940s. The series began on CBS television October 3, 1954. Originally sponsored by Lorillard's Kent cigarettes in its first season, Scott Paper Company became the primary sponsor when the series moved to NBC in the fall of 1955, remaining as sponsor even after it moved back to CBS in September 1958, with Lever Brothers as an alternate sponsor from 1957 through 1960. A total of 203 episodes were produced, running until September 17, 1960, and appearing on all three of the television networks of the time, including prime-time repeats from September 1960 through April 1963. -Wikipedia.org

4. Ward Cleaver

Ward Cleaver is a fictional character in the American television sitcom Leave It to Beaver. Ward and his wife, June, are often invoked as archetypal suburban parents of the babyboomer 1950s. The couple are the parents of Wally, a thirteen-year-old in the eighth grade, and seven-year-old ("almost eight") second-grader Theodore, nicknamed "The Beaver". A typical episode from Leave It to Beaver follows a misadventure committed by one or both of the boys, and ends with the miscreants receiving a moral lecture from their father and a hot meal from their mother.

Hugh Beaumont portrays Ward in the series and directed several episodes in the later seasons of the show. Max Showalter (appearing as Casey Adams) plays Ward in the series' pilot, "It's a Small World" which aired in April 1957. Many of the Leave It to Beaver players were featured in their original roles in a reunion movie televised in 1983 (Still the Beaver) and a sequel series called The New Leave It to Beaver that aired from 1985 to 1989. Hugh Beaumont had died in 1982, and in the 1983 reunion movie the character of Ward Cleaver was portrayed as having died in 1977, at the age of 67. 3. Jonathan Kent

Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent (ne Clark), often referred to as "Ma" and "Pa" Kent, are fictional characters published by DC Comics. The Kents are the adoptive parents of Superman. They live in the rural town of Smallville, Kansas. The couple is usually portrayed as being either late middle aged or elderly. In most versions of Superman's origin story, Jonathan and Martha were the first to come across the rocket that brought the infant Kal-El to Earth, with their adopting him shortly thereafter, renaming him Clark Kent "Clark" being Martha's maiden name. The Kents are usually portrayed as caring parents who instill within Clark a strong sense of morals, and they encourage Clark to use his powers for the betterment of humanity. 2. Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable

Dr. Heathcliff "Cliff" Huxtable (Bill Cosby), lives in Brooklyn Heights, New York. He was born in October 1937 in Philadelphia, making him 47 years old at the beginning of the series. Cliff had a brother, James Theodore Huxtable, who died of rheumatic fever at the age of 7. In his high school and college years, he was an athlete who played wrestling, football, and track. He is an OB/GYN, and is married to Clair Huxtable. Both Cliff and Clair attended the fictional Hillman College. Together, they have five children: Sondra, Denise, Theodore (Theo), Vanessa, and Rudith (Rudy). Cliff enjoys live jazz, has an extensive collection of albums, and tries to eat junk food whenever he can get away with it.

Cliff is very eccentric and silly to most people around him, especially his family. Despite this, he is very kind-hearted and a dedicated father with a strong sense of humor. He is also very competitive, often making bets with Clair over various things, such as the date a certain jazz song was released, or having a "Smooth Contest" to see which of them looked more elegant for a night on the town, as judged by the children. He also plays a monthly game of pinochle against his father and some friends, which sometimes gets very passionate. Unfortunately, Cliff often finds himself on the losing end of most of his bets and games, as, for example, he has never beaten his father-in-law at chess. However, Cliff eventually broke his losing streak at pinochle against his father and his friend Homer Dobson with the help of Dr. Foster (played by Roscoe Lee Browne), who also happened to be his and Clair's literary professor at Hillman College. -Wikipedia.org

1. Andy Taylor

Sheriff Andrew "Andy" Jackson Taylor is the principal character on The Andy Griffith Show, an American sitcom which aired on CBS, (19601968). The character made a few appearances in the show's spinoff Mayberry R.F.D. (19681971) and appeared in a reunion telemovie Return to Mayberry (1986). The character made his initial appearance in an episode of The Danny Thomas Show (February 1960).
